This off-beat Friday story was found by the blog Curator and Collector. A man was caught replacing the end coins of penny rolls with dimes and trying to pass them off as dime rolls. This led to a high speed chase, followed by pursuit on foot!

Thanks for the link, and nice site. When I started my blog on numismatics and museums, I thought I wouldn’t find any others doing news roundups on a daily basis, but I see that I was wrong. It’s a good surprise, though–we’re all filling a niche in our own way. Beautiful layout and colors, by the way!
