    There’s a resurgence of stories about gold as the decline takes out the $900 per ounce level. Also, the scoop on palladium, a balanced penny article, inside a Chinese Coin Counterfeiting Ring, sales begin and end at the U.S. Mint, and notable auctions. On to the links…

    The recent decline in gold has led to a fresh round of speculation about what lies next for the yellow metal. Chart followers see the near term uptrend broken, but support around the $850 level. Some are calling the end of the gold bubble. Tom Michael has a brief post which links out to some interesting coverage.
