The big news is the unveiling of the new designs for U.K. coins. There are a couple of links to paint the picture. Gold pops back over the $900 mark.
The Royal British Mint unveils the new reverse designs for U.K. coins. World Coin News puts the pieces together to show the royal shield of arms. Did you know the coins were designed by a 26 year old graphic designer?
On the other side of the pond, the U.S. Mint celebrates its 216th birthday!
In Albuquerque, U.S. Mint Director Edmund Moy will hold a coin collector’s forum open to the public.
