There’s plenty of bad news in the headlines. Is this an ominous sign for the price of gold?

A while back, I mentioned an upcoming conference hosted by GATA, the Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee. Their website has now published some thought provoking remarks from conference speakers on their website.

Here’s an article about an unusual hobby turned business, element collecting. Apparently, there is a vibrant market for element samples, including 44 offered element coins. You can find these for sale on eBay here.

The Star Telegram takes a look at the “Free Coins” offered by the World Reserve Monetary Exchange frequently mentioned by Tales of a Lifelong Coin Collector. It’s nice to see that even non-collectors are figuring out that there are better ways to obtain the Presidential Dollars.

Did you know that the historic Carson City mint is still pressing small batches of coins? They recently minted 1,500 Fallon Centennial Coins that are available for sale.

Another coin market report following CSNS convention, this one from Numismatic News.

Numismaster takes a look at some coin issues made possible by new technology.

Remember the 10,000 Euro coin dominoes video from a while back? Coin Collector’s Blog uncovered a behind the scenes video.

And now for a few notable auctions. Here’s a complete Indian Head Penny Set including the key dates 1877 and 1909-S.

Also a 1942 Proof Set certified by NGC. The Liberty Walking Half is NGC PF 67.

That’s it for today. Have a wonderful day!
