eBay's plan to make Paypal payment mandatory in the Australian market has not gone over very well, making some sellers "absolutely furious" and drawing anti-trust concerns. At the time of the initial announcement, there was some speculation that eBay was testing out the idea in a smaller market before attempting to implement something similar in the United States.
