Gold has been rising as the stock market falls and financial troubles mount. But it’s still below the record $1,033 price per ounce set on March 17.
Have you heard about “Presidential Oath Dollars?” These were created by the Denver Mint by placing a aluminum ring around a Presidential Dollar. They were limited to 1,000 each for the first six Presidents and slabbed by ANACS. HSN supposedly sold out their entire supply in 30 minutes and many people have been looking for information about them online. Here’s a Coin Talk thread with information and some collector opinions.
