Lately, it seems like a lot of people are expecting gold to soar.
As gold continues to rise, the US Mint’s price for Uncirculated Dolley Madison First Spouse coin gets close to melt value.
And here’s a look at recent sales figures for all of the First Spouse Coins still available from the Mint.

I am interested in these “Presidential Oath Dollars”. I have seen coins like these become nothing but nice little oddities or sky rocket in value. What is the word on the street about these??? I am not sure whether I should try and pick up a few just in case????

Coin World had an article in their July 28 issue that is worth reading. (no link since online access is by subscription only)
According to the article, these are not official mint products, but were conceived and created by the Mint’s independent contractor Aramark that runs the gift shops.
Personally, I am leaning towards temporarily popular novelty.
