    We’re back for another round up of coin collecting news. As precious metals prices stabilize after a rebound from a precipitous drop, two key questions. Also, Andrew Jackson’s Liberty First Spouse Coin, the US Mint’s Presidential Dollar marketing, coin furniture, NGC’s new holder, Barber Quarters, and notable auctions. On to the links…

    And now for some notable auctions. Ending today, here’s a nice looking 1904 Proof Barber Half NGC PF 65. The coin is in an older NGC holder and at least the obverse appears to be cameo.

    Also ending today, I’m hearing rumblings that this 1911 Lincoln Cent might be a rare matte proof. Here are the 1911 Lincoln Matte Proof diagnostics. The tell might be the die gouge above the “G” in “God.”
