You may have noticed that the updates have becoming later. For the time being, I will be posting the coin collecting news updates at the end of each day, rather than each morning. Today’s update includes news about the Royal Canadian Mint’s stretch capacity for producing gold bullion coins. Also, 2008-W Silver Eagles, behind the coin design process, Canadian penny, 100 oz. Last week the Royal Canadian Mint released statements indicating that they would not be suspending sales of Gold Maple Leaf bullion coins. According to this article, they are running at maximum capacity and have recently stretched their delivery schedule. Quote from an RCM spokesman,“We’re able to keep producing gold while the U.S. Mint has to throw up their hands and say, ‘we’re out.’”
