A hobbyist with a metal detector recently discovered a cache of ancient Celtic gold and silver coins in the Netherlands.
It’s only been a few days, but numerous offerings from the US Mint’s Last Chance Sale have already sold out.
Susan Headley reports on the US Mint’s Direct Ship Program for Presidential Dollars, including information about whether the Martin Van Buren Dollar will be available under the program.
If you regularly sell on eBay, you might be aware of their push for sellers to offer lower prices and free shipping. They accomplish this through the use of “Best Match” and seller incentives. And now for some notable auctions. First year of issue 1913 Buffalo Nickel Type 1 Graded NGC MS 66. It’s in an older style holder.
There 2008-W Silver Eagles graded NGC MS 70 are offered in packs of 10. The price is very reasonable.
Last a dramatic error coin. This 1971-D Washington Quarter is struck on a cent planchet. It’s encapsulated by NGC and graded MS 62 RB.
