We’re back with another round up of more coin collecting news! First, precious metals stage a rebound. Gold rebounds from yesterday’s big decline. Silver and platinum were also up.
An interesting first hand account of someone trying to find some physical gold and silver to buy in Canada.
From Mint News Blog, a comparison of the sales figures for the 2006-2008 W Uncirculated Platinum Eagles. The 2008 mintages look like they will fall mostly between the 2006 and 2007 levels.
Following similar warnings, the PNG cautions against the so-called “coins” honoring President-elect Obama. From the releaes, these items “should be considered only as souvenirs and not viewed as rare coins or an investment.”
