After the Fed cut its target rate to a range of zero to 0.25%, the dollar fell and gold rallied in electronic trading to $857.50 per ounce.
Mint News Blog takes a look at the upcoming National Parks Quarters and the concept of rotating designs on circulating coinage. Next year there will actually be more coins with rotating designs than static designs.

In world coin news, Bulgaria issues a new commemorative gold coin for Boris I and Austria will issue a commemorative silver coin featuring Joseph Haydn.
And now for some notable auctions. First, the recently sold out 2008-W Uncirculated Gold Buffalo 4 Coin Set, already demanding a big premium.
A big lot of 48 original bank wrapped rolls of 1962 Jefferson Nickels.
And last a full set 1971-1978 Proof Eisenhower Dollars graded PCGS PR69DCAM. This includes all clad and 40% silver issues.
