Today I launched a new website called Coin Review! You can use the site to provide ratings and reviews for US coins. The site has already started to attract some great reviews and commentary. Gold tops $980 per ounce today. This is still below the all time high in dollars, but the recent move has brought gold to new all time highs across many other world currencies.
For another perspective, Dave Harper is sticking by his prediction for $600 gold by the end of the year. If this comes to pass, he might be the only one who got it right.
A look at the most recent sales figures for 2008-W Proof & Uncirculated Gold Eagles. Since the post was written another one of the options has sold out.

Prices have apparently been weak for the 1995-W Proof Silver Eagle. Here’s the key date Proof Silver Eagle graded NGC PF 69 Ultra Cameo starting low with no reserve.
And last, a complete set of 50 State Quarters First Day Covers. Most of these are no longer available from the US Mint.
