Newsweek runs a story on the increased interest in gold investing. The reporter accompanied a businessman who purchased a one hundred ounce gold bar.
The US Mint announces the pricing for the Lincoln Cent Birthplace Two Roll Set. At $8.95 for $1.00 face value worth of coins, the premium is a bit steep.
Finally, information regarding the availability of the 2009 Proof Silver Eagles.
Reports from a local coin show which is experiencing record attendance. Quote from the story: “I think what it boils down to is people lose faith in stock, real estate (etc.) … and they want something tangible.”
