Do higher sales for 2009 Silver Eagle and Gold Eagle bullion coins suggest that the shortage is finally coming to an end?

The US Mint has updated their product schedule with release dates for two major products. Here is some preliminary information on the 2009 Proof Set and Letitia Tyler First Spouse Gold.

Another commemorative coin program has been proposed for 2011. It’s for Robert M. La Follette Sr. Commemorative Coins. He served as the governor of Wisconsin, Senator, Congressman, and also ran for President.

The World Reserve Monetary Exchange is at it again. They recently announced that “free armored safes are being doled out to the public.” All you have to do to get the free safe is buy $300 worth of coins for $1,862.

Back in 1997, the US Mint issued an interesting set called Impressions of Liberty that contained one ounce proof versions of the Gold Eagle, Silver Eagle, and Platinum Eagle.
