Unexpectedly, the proof version of the Andrew Jackson’s Liberty First Spouse Gold Coin has sold out at the US Mint. The uncirculated version of the coin remains on sale.

The James K. Polk Presidential Dollar Rolls will go on sale at the US Mint tomorrow. The Mint is also expected to offer the rolls through the Direct Ship Program.

From Coin Update News, the US Mint will unveil the designs for the 2010 Disabled Veterans Silver Dollar later this week.

The number of Formative Years Double Die Varieties is now up to sixty. Ken Potter reviews some of the more significant ones for Numismatic News.

The lawsuit centers around information provided which suggests that this coin may have been the first coin made under the weight standards established under by the Coinage Act of 1793. Or to put it another way, “the first coin made for circulation under a law of the United States.”
