The US Mint will begin sales of the 2011 Silver Eagle and one ounce 2011 Gold Eagle bullion coins on January 3, 2011.
The latest US Mint sales report shows continued strong demand for the 2010 Proof Gold Eagles. Shortly after posting the report, the one half ounce individual option sold out.

And now for some notable auctions. First, a 1906-D Liberty Double Eagle graded PCGS MS64+ with CAC sticker. The same seller has three other MS64+ graded double eagles with CAC verification.
Next, the lower mintage 1996-W Smithsonian $5 Gold commemorative coin.
Last, the 2006-W Proof Gold Eagle 4 Coin Set, with all coins graded PCGS PR70DCAM.
