We hope you made it though tax deadline day without any troubles! It’s back to another round up of coin collecting news from all over the internet. First, gold falls as economic optimism reigns. Gold fell more than 1% today, following jobs data which suggested the economy is stabilizing.
The US Mint makes updates to their 2009 Product Schedule. A few products temporarily disappeared, but this was apparently an inadvertent omission.
The latest sold out coins at the US Mint: 2008 Presidential $1 Coin & First Spouse Medal Sets. Auction prices for the sets have already jumped higher.

And now for some notable auctions. To go with one of today’s stories, here are the 2008 Presidential Dollar & First Spouse Medal Sets currently for sale on eBay.
One seller has an incredible assortment of early proof coins for sale. If this is your area of interest, view all the sellers auctions, but for a preview here is a 1937 Proof Buffalo Nickel PCGS PR67 and an 1879 Trade Dollar ANACS PR 63/64 with an old paper certificate grade.
Last, the 1921 High Relief Peace Dollar graded NGC MS 66.
Hello; I am very interested in the purchase of several mint rolls of 2009 Pennies,Nickles and Dimes! Would this be possible and if so HOW!
The US Mint does sell 2009 Cents, as each design is released. check on usmint.gov for the “Formative Years” set. They are sold for a hefty premium, however.
The other denominations will be harder to track down. Distribution has been extremely spotty. Most of the coins released seem to be coming from US Territories.
Well here it is December right around the corner and still no sign of Denver minted dimes and nickels?! I couln’t even fathome how much a roll of denver nickels would fetch on E-bay right now.
Where are all these coins? according to the mint there are millions of them made.
