I am back from a quick vacation. There have been plenty of interesting coin collecting stories to surface in the past few days. Here’s a round up of some of the best. First, two stories on the US Mint regarding their diminished product line and the end of production for two denominations. A reduced number of offerings and several quick sell outs have resulted in a significantly reduced 2009 product line for the US Mint.
Believe it or not, the US Mint has officially announced the end of production for 2009 Jefferson Nickels and Roosevelt Dimes.
