What does a chart of the Dow Jones Industrial Average look like if it was priced in gold since 1999? Answer: Not good.

Platinum continues to decline. It’s now at a 6 month low.

More on the “chaos” caused by the re-introduction of coins in Zimbabwe. Since the coins were reintroduced at face value, a $1 coin is now worth 10 billion of the old dollars.

The 2008 Annual Uncirculated Dollar Coin Set will go on sale at the US Mint on August 7, 2008.

More news from the US Mint, they will be introducing the new Andrew Jackson Presidential Dollar at President Jackson’s former home on August 14.
