First, breaking news that the Ultra High Relief Double Eagle Gold Coin might carry a 6 to 9 month shipping delay. Mint News Blog has the story that the US Mint is providing for a potential six to nine month delay in delivering the 2009 Ultra High Relief Double Eagle Gold Coin.

Separately PCGS and NGC have posted submission instructions for the Ultra High Relief. No word yet on how the potential multi-month shipping delay might impact Early Releases and First Strike designations.
