First, some results from Heritage Auctions Platinum Night at FUN, which includes three coins sold for more than $1 million each. The “Olsen-Hawn” 1913 Liberty Nickel sold last night for $3,737,500! Two other coins sold for more than one million dollars including a 1927-D $20 Saint Gaudens PCGS MS66 for $1,495,000 and a Bickford $10 gold pattern for $1,265,000.
Separately, here are the results of Heritage World Coins auction at NYINC, highlighted by the sale of the 1936 Canadian Dot Cent for $402,500.
The latest available information on the 2010 Gold and Silver Eagles from Mint News Blog. Still no additional information on the legally mandated 5 ounce American the Beautiful Silver Bullion coins.
Recapping last year’s 2009 Ultra High Relief Gold Coin. The last available figures indicate sales of 112,065 coins.

Details remain indefinite for a possible launch ceremony for the 2010 Lincoln Cent. A ceremony has been tentatively planned for February 11 in Springfield, Illinois.
