We’re back for another round up of coin collecting news! First, the Royal Canadian Mint celebrates a special anniversary. Also, possible new Director for the US Mint, changes in progress for some coin grading services, Presidential Dollars from a bank’s perspective, and notable auctions. On to the links…

The Royal Canadian Mint celebrates its 100th Anniversary. CoinNews provides some of the most memorable events of the Mint’s history.

With a new President on the way, will coin collectors get a new US Mint Director? If so, the upcoming Ultra High Relief Gold Double Eagle might be Edmund Moy’s final legacy.

From the new Stella Coin News, information on some changes for major grading services PCGS, NGC, and ICG. This includes possible layoffs at PCGS and NGC.

If you are able to attend Coinfest this weekend in Connecticut, CAC will be offering free services on November 8th.

An interesting viewpoint piece published on Numismaster. The writer is a young collector who works part time at a bank. He provides some interesting insight into the Presidential Dollar series from the bank’s perspective.

And now for a few notable auctions. First, this Delaware Quarter has a Rotated Die Error. The neat part is that the rotation is 170 degrees, giving the coin nearly an opposite flip side.
