A Chicago Tribune columnist tries to cash in a 5-gallon water jug of coins and hits a few snags. Some banks do offer free coin counting for customers, but you have to hunt for them.

You probably know that Louis Braille is the subject of a silver dollar commemorative coin issued in the United States. But did you know he is also commemorated this year on a circulating Italian 2-Euro coin?

And now for some notable auctions. The Sarah Polk First Spouse Gold Coin is already available in PCGS holders. Here’s the Sarah Polk Gold Coin graded PCGS PR70DCAM First Strike.

Peace Dollars are rarely found in grades MS67 or higher. Here’s a common date in an uncommon grade- 1925 Peace Dollar NGC MS 67.

Last, a visually impressive Lincoln Cent Error. It is descibed as having a huge full brockage or reverse cap with a “ring of fire” metal flow on the reverse.
